Ms. Geie Daniel is a public health professional with progressive leadership experience in humanitarian and emergency health settings. She currently serves as Health Promotion, Community Engagement and Protection Manager with Médecins Sans Frontières in Syria, where she develops and implements community engagement strategies, facilitates stakeholder collaboration, conducts rapid qualitative assessments, and manages protection activities including safe spaces.

Previously, as Project Coordinator and Health Officer with the South Sudan Red Cross, she led immunization and health promotion programmes in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, established strategic partnerships, supervised data collection and M&E processes, and oversaw financial management and budgeting. She also served as Public Health Officer/Data Manager at the Ministry of Health's Public Health Emergency Operation Centre, managing COVID-19 data collection, epidemiological surveillance using EWARS Platform, and emergency toll-free line operations.

Ms. Daniel is dedicated to advancing public health outcomes in humanitarian and fragile settings through evidence-based programming, community-centered approaches, and robust health systems strengthening. She is committed to protecting vulnerable populations and promoting health equity through innovative, culturally appropriate interventions.
